Re-Panel of Enquiry on EndSARS

I write with due respect and utmost sense of humility, regards to your esteem personalities.

Sir, I find it so cheated, painful, disappointed, depressed, oppressed and neglected after so many injuries sustained in every parts of my body in the hands of inhumane police officers. But silence is no more an option, hence the reason i write to your various offices this letter, appealing to you on behalf of myself and other victims, to please help us find everlasting solution to our sufferings in the hand of our traducers.

I am begging the state government through the leadership of HE Prince Dapo Abiodun the Governor of Ogun state, Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo, Speaker Ogun House of Assembly, Hon Goke Awoso, the Honorable representing Isokan 1 state constituency where I come from in Yewa North to please, show us mercy and give us sense of belonging by looking into the report of the ENDSARS” judicial panel of enquiry on police brutality and extrajudicial killings in the state, and see the reason why the panel’s recommendation should be implemented now.

I spent nothing less than 6days in private hospital after I was released at magbon police station in Abeokuta, it was then I discovered I had a broken leg and even contracted tuberculosis while I was in the cell, and so many unidentified health issues in my body which I cannot even say what the symptoms meant. Even up to this moment that I write this letter, am not fine and it’s almost two years now.

I was so happy when the government set the judicial panel of enquiry on police brutality and extrajudicial killings, because I was told that Governor Dapo Abiodun doesn’t condone any act of inhumane and lawlessness at any level, so thereby asking people who’ve been in one way or the other brutalized, illegally arrested by police and so on to submit their petition which I did.

I immediately used the opportunity, filed my petition before Ogun state judicial panel of enquiry, which sat for 6months, and another 2 to 3 months before the panel finally submitted their report to Ogun state Governor HE Dapo Abiodun.

Pathetic and funny, the magbon men of SARS led by OC Muhammed Tijani could not produce any evidence to the panel against me throughout the sittings.

HE Dapo Abiodun promised to implement the panel’s recommendation, but I think it’s getting late now because it’s over 7months now since he made the promise. I need to take care of myself as my left leg still needs to be casted for permanent healing and some other injuries in my body.

I am appealing to our governor to please consider the implementation of the panel’s recommendation. We have committed so much energy and sacrifices in those cases and it’s going to be two years in few months now.

The state government should please implement the recommendations of the judicial panel of enquiry now that many of us are still alive and not when some of us are dead of unknown health issues.

Thank You.

Yours Faithfully,
