Akinyode Soyoye Backs Sagamu Youth Association, Pledges Security Gadgets And Educational Support

To bolster security and youth development in Sagamu, Akinyode Soyoye Sawi has pledged to provide security gadgets through Sagamu Youth Association to the Remo Neighborhood Watch and collaborate with SYA on educational empowerment programs. During a strategic meeting with the association’s leadership, Soyoye commended their dedication to securing the community and assured them of his continued support in fostering a safer and more educated society.
The meeting, led by Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal (Ambassador Easy), provided an avenue for the SYA executives to present their blueprint, which focuses on security, education, empowerment and development (SEED). Acknowledging the association’s proactive efforts, Soyoye emphasized the importance of community-driven security initiatives in complementing law enforcement operations. He noted that providing security gadgets would enhance the efficiency of the Remo Neighborhood Watch, ensuring that Sagamu remains a safe and peaceful environment.
“When Sagamu is peaceful, the entire Remo can sleep soundly without fear of insecurity,” Soyoye stated. He stressed that security is a shared responsibility and that well-equipped local security networks play a crucial role in deterring criminal activities. He pledged to personally fund the procurement of modern security gadgets, including communication devices, surveillance tools, and protective gear, to strengthen the capacity of the Remo Neighborhood Watch in safeguarding the community.

Beyond security, Soyoye expressed his commitment to supporting education initiatives in collaboration with the Sagamu Youth Association. He emphasized that empowering young people with quality education and vocational skills is key to reducing crime and fostering sustainable development.
To this end, he promised to partner with SYA on scholarship programs, mentorship initiatives, and digital literacy training to equip youths with knowledge and skills needed to excel in various fields.
The SYA executives appreciated Soyoye’s pledges, describing them as timely interventions that would address pressing community needs. They expressed optimism that his support for both security and education would create long-term benefits for Sagamu and the wider Remo region.
