Akinde’s Demise: Ogun PDP Mourns

The Ogun State People’s Democratic Party, PDP has Mourns Alhaji  Mukadaz Alani Akinde over his demise.

The announcement of our foremost leader and father, Alhaji Chief Mukadaz Alani Akinde’s tragic passage to the great beyond was received by the leadership our dear party with rude shock and grief. This is owing to the fact that Gbengbeleku Danbiowu, as fondly called in political circle was hale and full of life till yesterday.

Babas transition has, undoubtedly created a big vacuum for not only the PDP, it is a most tragic loss to the entire Ota Awori community and traditions. It is also a painful loss to the entire political class in Ogun west senatorial district, Ogun state and Nigeria as a whole.

It is more painful to the PDP family because Baba left us at the time his deep well of experience, counsel and political dexterity are needed most. We are however consoled in the irreducible fact that our leader and father led a successful and impactful life, not only in progressive politics but in business and indelible community service.

While we extend our heartfelt words of condolences to his immediate family members and the Ota community as a whole, we pray Almighty Allah, SWT to repose babas charming soul, forgive his shortcomings and grant our darling leader Aljanah frida’us. Amen.
