Akarigbo’s 7th Coronation Anniversary: Sagamu Youth Association Celebrate The Transformative Reign Of Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi With Poetic Tribute
Sagamu, Ogun State — The Sagamu Youths Association, alongside sons and daughters of Remoland at home and in the diaspora, has in a display of unity and reverence marked the 7th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, FCA, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland.
The event was highlighted by a poetic tribute and heartfelt messages celebrating a reign defined by peace, progress, and cultural renaissance.
Since ascending the throne seven years ago, Oba Ajayi has been credited with fostering an era of tranquility and development across Remoland. His leadership style, marked by wisdom, inclusivity, and forward-thinking initiatives, has left an indelible mark on the region.
“Your Majesty, your ascension to the throne is a blessing we celebrate with pride. In seven years, you’ve transformed Remoland into a haven of peace and prosperity,” said Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal, President of the Sagamu Youths Association, in his speech.
A poetic tribute penned by the youth association captured the sentiments of the people:
“Oh, Kabiesi, jewel of Remo’s pride,
On your shoulders, our hopes do abide.
Seven years of wisdom, of grace untold,
A reign as pure as Remo’s gold.”
The ode emphasized the monarch’s role as a unifier, cultural custodian, and champion of youth empowerment, resonating deeply with the audience.

Under Oba Ajayi’s rulership, Remoland has experienced remarkable progress in education, healthcare, and economic development. His ability to mediate conflicts and foster communal harmony has earned him widespread admiration beyond the borders of Ogun State.
The monarch’s emphasis on youth empowerment has also been lauded. “Kabiyesi has opened the palace doors to the aspirations of young people, inspiring us to dream bigger and contribute to the growth of our land,” said Comr Amb Popoola Abdullahi, the association’s Public Relations Officer.
