The Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, ina groundbreaking celebration of heritage and artistry, has officially inaugurated the maiden Remo Day Art Exhibition 2024 on Friday, December 20, 2024. Held at the Royal Event Hall, Akarigbo Palace, Ita Oba, Sagamu, Ogun State, the event spotlighted the theme “Celebrating Remoland: The Power of Creativity in Promoting Our Cultural Identity.”

The exhibition presented a vibrant tapestry of Remoland’s history and cultural essence through captivating displays. Guests were treated to a showcase of artifacts, photographs, and artistic renditions celebrating the region’s towns, traditions, commerce, and influential personalities, alongside its achievements in education and industry.

The event featured compelling addresses from key figures:

Otunba Seni Adetu, Chairman of the Remo Growth and Development Foundation (RemoGDF), delivered an inspiring welcome speech, emphasizing the foundation’s commitment to preserving Remo’s cultural identity.

Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi enriched the occasion with a royal address, highlighting the vital role of creativity in fostering unity and progress in Remoland.
