Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has debunked speculations suggesting his possible defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), reaffirming his unwavering loyalty to the PDP.
This clarification comes on the heels of his recent visits to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos and Abuja, which had sparked widespread political speculation.
Taking to his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle, Governor Adeleke urged the public to disregard what he described as “fake news,” stressing that he remains the leader of the PDP in Osun and remains focused on delivering his administration’s 5-point agenda.

“Over the last few hours, I have been inundated with calls regarding rumours of a possible defection,” Adeleke stated. “I want to assure the good people of Osun State and Nigerians at large; I remain a loyal member and the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State. My focus remains on delivering good governance and fulfilling our 5-point agenda for Osun people.”
