Abu Abel Foundation Set for Launch as Founder Empowers Sagamu Pupils with Educational Materials
In a show of love and community development, renowned philanthropist and businessman, Aare Abu Abel Egbarin, has donated hundreds of free exercise books to pupils across selected primary schools in Sagamu to commemorate his birthday anniversary.
Beneficiary schools include Sokoya Memorial Primary School and Eleja UMC Primary School, both of which expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gesture. Teachers and pupils alike described the donation as timely and impactful, noting that it would go a long way in supporting learning and easing the financial burden on parents.
The book distribution exercise was led by the Sagamu Youth Association (SYA) under the leadership of its President, Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal, popularly known as Ambassador Easy. He was accompanied by other key members of his executive team, including Comrade Oluwaseun Awofodu (Treasurer), Ambassador Abdullahi Popoola (Public Relations Officer), Comrade Adewale Hammed Bashiru (Director of Special Duties, popularly known as Honourable Prince Lahbash), and Comrade Oluwaseun Akande, a respected SYA stakeholder.
While speaking during the outreach, Ambassador Easy described Aare Abu Abel as “a man with a golden heart whose passion for humanity continues to inspire the youth of Sagamu.” He commended the philanthropist’s dedication to educational support and community empowerment, stressing that such initiatives foster hope and encourage academic excellence among children.

Also present at the event were the Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Youth and Sports, Honourable Habeeb Ajetunmobi, and youth leader Comrade Waliu Adetu, popularly known as Basket, alongside his crew, who all applauded the initiative and expressed their commitment to supporting similar community development programs.
The exercise book donation serves as a prelude to the official launch of the Abu Abel Foundation, set to hold tomorrow, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Sagamu Town Hall. The event will mark a new chapter in Aare Abu Abel’s philanthropic journey, focusing on education, youth empowerment, and social welfare projects across Sagamu and beyond.
