The distinguished investiture, themed “Celebrating Distinction and Faithful Stewardship,” took place at the Garden of Faith in Abeokuta and brought together an array of national leaders, clergy, and dignitaries.

Aare Emmanuelking’s recognition as the pioneering recipient of the Knight of Faith title marked a significant moment in the faith community, as CAN South West seeks to celebrate Christians who exemplify leadership, integrity, and service across sectors.

The ceremony, presided over by Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya, CAN South West Chairman, featured the induction of other eminent personalities as Distinguished Patrons, including the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, Barr. Olaniyi Alajogun, and iconic gospel musician Sir Evangelist Prof. Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi (MFR).

Representing Governor Dapo Abiodun, the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tokunbo Talabi, praised the initiative for recognizing individuals who blend spiritual values with societal transformation.

Also in attendance were senior government officials including Hon. Ola Oresanya, Ogun State Commissioner for Environment; CP Olanrewaju Ogunlowo, Ogun State Commissioner of Police; royal fathers; national CAN leaders; and Christian stakeholders from across the region.

Land Donation and Kingdom Commitment

Adding a philanthropic touch to the occasion, Aare Emmanuelking surprised attendees by donating a plot of land from one of Adron Homes’ premium estates to the winner of the event’s empowerment initiative — a gesture reflecting his longstanding dedication to community upliftment and economic empowerment.
