Education
A Must Read Message To Nigerian Teachers By Shosanya Babatunde Oluwaseyi.
Guy Kawasaki once said and I quote ” If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers. They are society’s heroes.
Dear esteemed teachers in Nigeria. In commemoration of this year’s World Teacher’s Day, Nigerian teachers connect with their counterparts all over the world to celebrate and remind the global community of the significance role of teachers in the society. The theme of this year, Teachers at the heart of education recovery.”
The role of a teacher in a society can never undermine they mould a nation through their profession. It’s high time our Government to look inward and invest heavily on teacher’s training and well being. On the other hand as a teacher our teaching must change to meet up our students in their learning space. John c. Maxwell deposited ” Student don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Teaching is a noble profession that shapes the character, the calibre and future of an individual. Education is the key to develop to a nation building. There’s a need for the government through the ministry of education to engage educators and revisit our curriculum to meet up to standardize around the globe.

I’m bold to say Nigerian has a lot of brilliant and potential teacher’s that can salvage the current situation of our education and recover it in addition bring it to the limelight.
As a Nigerian teacher, I believe we are up to the task on Education recovery. Let’s begin to prepare for future challenges, impact in people’s success most especially our students, we should embrace peace and train ourselves to be responsible for developing and add value to the people around us.
Information is power think ahead, dream big and be innovate. In conclusion, let’s educate ourselves and be diligent to learn, do not be afraid to tell the truth always. I will leave us with Malcolm X quote ” Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.” Happy teacher’s Day.
