I oppose, abhor shameless campaigns, parody of Tinubu’s health, says Senator Nnamani
Former governor of Enugu state, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, has kicked out the campaign targeting All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Senator Chimaroke stated this in a personally signed press release entitled “Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Path of History”.
Senator Nnamani, who is also the current chair of the Senate Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa/NEPAD, said he strongly opposes, protests and hates Tinubu’s blatant campaigns and parody of Tinubu’s health. In addition, as a health professional I am amazed at the ignorance, folly, wickedness and insensitivity of these idiotic operators.
I believe they are unjustified, extremely unprofessional and have no place in our polity.
“As we all want a better Nigeria, our policies must be based on facts and reliable evidence. This is the only way we can move this nation forward.”
He described Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the most successful governor of modern Nigeria.
“When Bola Ahmed Tinubu was governor, the IHR of Lagos State increased from 600 million Naira per month to over 8 billion Naira per month. He had an impressive record as governor; his state contributed more than 30 percent to our country’s GDP, accounted for more than 65 percent of Nigeria’s industrial investment, 80 percent of international trade, and collected more than 60 percent of the value-added tax of the country. country. In terms of human capabilities, his mentorship has been first-rate and his mentees have spread and like little acorns many have become giant oak trees in the political firmaments of Nigeria.”
He also went on a memory trail to name some former presidents who stood out for contributing to the growth and greatness of their country despite health problems.
“The first person in my lineup is John F. Kennedy (JFK). JFK actually experienced discomfort almost daily. He had digestive problems, allergies and a persistent back condition that necessitated several surgeries, and was exacerbated by his participation in World War II. He had medical consequences of hypoadrenalism, anemia, low blood pressure, etc. which was later determined to be Addison’s disease. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), the longest-serving president of the United States of America, served his term as president in a wheelchair, following a diagnosis of polio when he was 39 years old in 1921.

Despite his health, Roosevelt led the country through the Great Depression and World War II, two of the greatest crises of the 20th century. He significantly increased the authority of the federal government through a number of initiatives and reforms known as the New Deal. He was also a key figure in the successful campaign to eradicate Japanese militarism and German National Socialism. Woodrow Wilson After World War I, Woodrow Wilson founded the League of Nations (1914–18). He oversaw the passing of laws banning child labor and the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Wilson’s mouth slumped on one side in 1919, a sign of a partial stroke, according to a doctor, by October 1919 he was partially paralyzed.
Dwight D. Eisenhower, elected in 1952, American remembered his time as the “happy days” when they only enjoyed a booming economy. It is important to note that he was already suffering from abdominal adhesions as a result of appendectomy in 1923 and in 1956 during the second term he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a serious digestive condition that required surgery. Eisenhower suffered a stroke shortly after in 1957. Americans were able to enjoy a booming economy despite his health. Ronald Reagan While there isn’t much evidence that the 40th president had Alzheimer’s while he was commander in chief, suspicions of dementia followed Reagan during his first presidential campaign, where the 69-year-old attracted a lot of attention when he was the oldest incoming president. Anyway, he was called ‘the great communicator’. By effectively negotiating with Congress, Reagan was able to pass legislation that boosted employment, reduced inflation, and strengthened the country’s defenses.
However, the legislator advised Bola Tinubu on what to do by working to improve relations with many others, especially the Igbo people.
“He must be guided by advocacy, example, practice and open-mindedness to assuage the feeling and ongoing hostility towards the Igbo in Lagos.
Senator Nnamani also condemned the alleged chastisement of Igbo by his colleague, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
According to him, “The Igbo cannot apologize for exploring the limits of reaching the Trinity of her character. Igbambo (bustle) Njepu (Travel) and Ako na Uche (bed of reason). The performance (Ntoozu) and the sum of the parts are irrevocable. The celebration of the Trinity and crescendo, ODENIGBO arouses jealousy and hostility in those who claim to own Lagos. Guess what, the Igbo isn’t going anyway. In the spirit of their fathers and ancestors, more are pouring into Lagos every day. Tinubu is qualified to become Nigeria’s president in 2023 as there is no evidence that he has dementia. While my vote is covered by the umbrella according to my party PDP and our candidate, HE Atiku Abubakar. I bow to the hardest-working Politico of this generation. He patiently paid his dues.”
“I pray that he recovers from his alleged ailments as many people do. May God and posterity visit Ahmed Bola Tinubu with mercy, peace and kindness,” he said.
