Gov. Abiodun Assures Timely Completion Of Ishasi-Denro-Akute- Ijoko Roads
Being part of the mission to fulfil his campaign promises to bring comfort to the good people of Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has again assured of the timely completion of the ongoing construction of the Ishasi-Denro-Akute road.
Governor Abiodun on his recent inspection tour to the projects site assured the people that since the project was of utmost importance to the residents of the area, his government will ensure its early completion
Abiodun said, “this particular project is of utmost importance to our people living here. This is a community that adjoins Lagos State, it is very important to us as a people and it is important we ensure accessibility between our people here and those in Lagos no matter what it will cost us.
He said, “This particular road that leads to Ijoko is probably one of the worst in this constituency, there is a bridge here that has been abandoned for years. However, since government is a continuum, we have resolved to ensure that any meaningful project that the collective wealth of Ogun State have been invested in must be completed”.
Prince Abiodun described deplorable state of internal roads as one of the problems government is facing, the Denro-Ishasi-Akute roads was one of the roads prioritised and it has been awarded.
He also assured them that those roads will be provided with covered drainage system and streetlight.
The Governor told the people that his visit was to see the level of work done and to find out what needed to be done in the immediate term to bring immediate relief to our constituents that live here.
Abiodun appreciated the people for their love, cooperation and understanding despite the fact that some of their properties were demolished to give way for the expansion of the road.
Similarly, Governor Abiodun also inspected the Journalists Estate Road currently being constructed by his administration with a promise to compensate owners of buildings affected by the project.
