Olarewaju Michael George, otherwise known as OMG or Omo George is from Sagamu Remo, Ogun State Indigenous son, a fast rising entrepreneur and generous man turned politician, Omo George and his owndom’s bagged four awards of excellent exemplary performance, respectively, from Rotaract Club Of Sagamu, District 9110, Nigeria. 

In a statement sighted by Eaglesforesight, signed by the Investiture Chairman of the club, Rotr. Ismail Adekunle, said; “the tetrad awards all came in recognition and honouring the altruistic gesture-politics and philanthropic lifestyle of the most distinguished benefactor, Omo George tremendous achievements and contributions to the growth development of Remo Constituency and selfless services to humanity.

“The First Award, “Special Recognition Award in Great Commitment And Passion For Humanitarian Service in Remo Land” was bestowed on Amigmex Foundation, The Second Award, “Outstanding Recognition on Health, Dieases Prevention And Treatment in Reposition The Health Sector In Remo Land” was bestowed on Olanrewaju Michael George Foundation (OOGF), The Third Award “Excellence Award In Recognition Of Outstanding Mobilization Strength And Human Capacity Development Initiatives in Remo Land” was bestowed on Team OMG while The Fourth Award, “Award Of Excellence  On Economic, Youth, Community Development And Immense Contributions Towards The Growth Of Remo Land” was conferred on the C.E.O himself, Olanrewaju Michael George. 

Speaking at the venue of the occasion, “Official Investiture Ceremony, Induction Of Board Directors And Fundraising Anniversary Of Rotr. Khadijat Gbeminyi Tijani, As The 11th President Of The Club”, which was held at Sagamu Town Hall on Sunday, 15th August, 2021, the newly Club President, Rotr. Tijani said the meritorious award was in recognition of Olarewaju Michael George and his owndom “ground-breaking performance as the foremost Nigerian philanthropist and Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Foundation’s Founder from Remo Constituency with the largest number of Road Project, water Project, youth Empowerment, Skill acquisition, Infrastructure development, educational support, free medical/Health care program, Monthly Stipends for the vulnerable’s and old age people, small and medium Scale Industry Empowerment for indigenes and Non Indigenes of the State, as well as promotion of Peace, Humanitarian Capital and Community Development Support, which have altogether created prosperity for Remo Constituency”.

She also used the medium to called on all prominent Nigerians that God has blessed, both home and diaspora, to emulate the prolific versatile of Olanrewaju Michael George, look backwards and come home to develop the state for the benefit of all. 

We won’t fold our arms seeing our people suffering and we won’t stop until the difference is made, the amiable philanthropist OMG said, through his representatives when receiving the awards on his behalf.
