Report of today’s meetings.

Comrades, words cannot be enough to thank you all for the massive solidarity shown to us as we honour the invitation of the Lagos CP. We like to thank also in a very special way all the journalist who followed our activities today and also publish the meetings today despite the short notice. Many thanks to all families and friends too.

Our President was also extraordinary,he kept on calling until we were done. All the disengaged staff also showned us great love. Many thanks to our Comrades that joined to meet with the CP.

The meeting was in our favor. The atmosphere was friendly though we were delayed but the officer in charge shown a high level of maturity.

The CP, invited the SG Lawal and I, we were directed to the OC SIB, the police were disgusted that Lawal refused to appear.

They actually wanted to see how they can mediate and deescalate tensions, they listened to our side of the stories, it was mentioned that we had a genuine case and that we are free to pursue out course but with good sense of maturity as we have been displaying but that we should also carry them along.

While we were at the police command, Lawal and his cohorts shifted their emergency meetings from 10am to 7am, though they arrived at a very horrible decision in their kangaroo meeting despite a court order restraining them from the meeting.

They have expelled our President from our Union and they installed another President, Lawal’s tenure was extended by one year on contract and after then he will be reemployed as a consultant.

No discussion about the sacked staff

It was stated that anybody that relates without Mr Presido will also be expelled from the union.

We hope to issues our objections latest tomorrow.
