The Executive of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide ( YCYW) led by its Ogun State Council Chairman, Hon. Sunday Adebowale was on a courtesy visit to Ifo local government boss, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Delano in her office today, 20th of August, 2021.
The Council’s mission to the local government boss was to show their support and loyalty to the leadership of the local government,
While praying during the visit a member of the entourage, Comrade Bankole prayed for the success of the new administration in the local government.
The Council also used the opportunity of the visit to intimate local government boss of their upcoming programme for the Youths in the State.
According to Hon. Sunday Adebowale, this programme, a free Agricultural Training Seminar which is organised in conjunction with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, will be holding at NUJ House, Iwe Iroyin Hall, Abeokuta by 9:00am prompt on the 28th of August, 2021.
Among the dignitaries expected at the occasion are: The Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, Aare Adedotun Hassan, Global President ( YCYW), Dr. Samson Adeola Odedina, Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture, Ogun State, Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, House of Representatives member, Ifo/ Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Hon. Faruq Akintunde, the Senior Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Environment, Prof. Sanni Oladimeji, Dr Godwin Ashore ( Guest Speaker), Dr. Oganla Oladimeji ( Patron, YCYW and founder Baawa Foundation).
Hon. Sunday Adebowale advised the Youths in the local government to join their counterpart from other local governments in the state to take the advantage of this seminar to empower themselves for a better future.
The seminar according to Hon. Sunday Adebowale will focus on the plantation of Cassava, Maize, Tropical Agriculture and other ariable crops.
Responding, the local government boss was full of enthusiasm and admiration for the Council and its leadership for their concerns for the future the Youths, She prayed that the Almighty God will continue to strengthen them in this noble course they have chosen for themselves and God will reward them accordingly.
The Chairman Ifo Local Government Hon Chief Mrs Kikelomo Delano appreciated their coming and alos encouraged the youth to participate more in the development of the local government and even the state at Large.
She also encouraged the youth to participate more in agriculture as this is the is more dependable and can sustainable the growth of our economy.
