2023 POLITICS: The Beginning Of Another Progressive Or Regressive  Journey?.

It is not more a news that 2023 general elections is fast approaching and as a layman that is following every political activities should be able to predict correctly, what we should be expecting in 2023 as a country.

Now, the journey of another miles is around the corner and politicians are running helter skelter from one political party to another in order to test their political validity and popularity before the race fully begins. And as time goes on, chaos will set in, likely to be anchored by political ‘harlots’ (decampees) who believed, that is the best way of doing things rather than supporting a party that will definitely win at the end of the journey.

Here are the questions to ask ourselves; what will be the position of this country and we, citizens of this nation in the aftermath of this impending political journey?

The answer is best known to you. Get your popcorn and sweet, catch cruise and follow the piece to the end.

I know many answers are awaited at the corner of your mind but preserve those answers till time demands for them. Work with them as much as the love of this nation is paramount in your heart and let the change begin from you.

Sequel to 2015 & 2019 general elections, the country is almost down in the journey to elect the good minded being to pilot the affair of our dear nation for another 4 years. In lieu to this, political move began then and Nigerians contributed his/her own quota to the political party they belonged to, in preparation for the elections. During the time of fighting for their parties, they looked for way forward to castigate the then government so that game will change and serve to their hand, not knowing that the hole dug for enemies is still their for who dug the hole because the hole was dug to ruin someone’s life. This reminds me one English proverb which says: what goes around comes around. Now, the present government is facing the consequences of her deed before getting to the mantle of power.

Let me use kwara as one example, by the time, the 2019 elections knocking around, politicians saw the time as best and good time for them to stride out the most popular political party and the then dynasty (Saraki dynasty) away in which the dream came to reality as they wished. But, unfortunately before the election day, different assignments were carried out to uproot the said dynasty with different propaganda and vilification which eventually led to unquantifiable promises to kwarans courtesy of Otoge. Later kwarans saw that as an opportunity to vote and test another party from different angle and with different perspectives to pilot the affair of the state.

But, so unfortunate, the lies and propaganda against the deposed dynasty in the state later boomerang over the political propagandists, kwarans and the present administration in the state with which reminds me the common Yoruba adage that ssys “bi iro balo logun odun ójokan lotito aba” (lies last not forever), kwarans are now regretting their blind fight and the lies they sold to them to get their supports.

The similar example is Edo case, I won’t take long on this because we fully know how it went thou. Kudos to Edolites for their bravery, support and giant stride over Godwin Obaseki aftermath his decision to dump ruling party APC for opposition PDP which later compensated by giving him direct ticket as their candidates which he finally won the gubernatorial election.

Considering the fact that kwarans are regretting while Edolites are giving glory to Almighty God. Smiling and joyous over there deed by voting for their choice and the right candidacy of Obaseki. We need to wake up from slumbering and face the reality of a thing, the time is here again right candidates must be chosen and be voted for right from the presidency, Governorship and all other electives posts come 2023.

I think with this, we may contribute wisely this time around. So, let unite ourselves to make good decision as the time is drawing closer to decide for 2023. We are Nigerians, our voice is best and we shall make best and perfect decision than ever before.

Accept this as my take as a layman following the political event in the country.
