SYA DAY 1,2&3 UPDATES: Sagamu Sport Festival Kicked Off First Maiden 2021 Edition Match, See Results. [PHOTOS]

Sagamu Youth Association has resumed the proposed planned Sagamu Sport Festival activities, fixed 23/08/2021 for it official commencement.

The game which took place at a popular Secondary School in Sagamu along High Court road, Sagamu High School field on Sunday, saw the host of the both association and the sport committe under the leadership of Comrade Sikiru Olusegun Abdulwasiu, Sagamu Youth Association President in attendance to watch the match.

Sholarin in his report statement says, we are pleased to inform the entire Sagamu youths that our planned Sagamu sport festival which was before, suspended for better organization and inclusion of all interested members association, but finally kicks off on Monday 23/08/2020 with the football category.

The Sport committe chairman doubled as the PRO of Sagamu Youth Association, Comrade Sholarin R. Adedapomola, said, planning committee is working tirelessly to ensure this Maiden Edition tagged “SAGAMU FIT 2021” is inclusive and affordable for all participants, while we also acknowledged the support and understanding of all our sponsors and the entire Sagamu youth for your understanding.

When Eaglesforesight reached out to the football committe Chairman also doubled as the Sagamu Youth Association Deputy Director Of Finance, Comrade Olajide Lawal, on phone call conversation on situational reports from the field, he said, all i can say now is we need more logistics and i have informed the sport chairman and the SYA President which we are hopefully expecting to hear from them since we already gotten a positive response from the two concern authorities,

“He said, we are done with group stages we are moving in to the Quarter-Final and Semi-Final stage, and that will be play on Friday respectively, while final is scheduled to be played on Sunday at the Gateway 🏟️ Stadium in Sagamu along Ikenne Road”.

Olajide charged all the youths and football fans across Sagamu and her environs to come out in their usual masses turnout to watch and support the initiative as to encourage the brains behind the first Sport Maiden Edition for the year 2021.
