Ogun Moves To Digitalize School Dossiers, Results Of Students.

Ogun State Government has revealed plan to begin the process of digitalizing the dossiers of the public schools and results of its students as schools resumed on Monday for 2021/2022 acedemic session 

The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu dropped the hint during the monitoring of the schools for resumption for the new academic session

His words,” the government is working to digitalise school dossiers and results to make it easier and convenient for learners to check their results”.  

Arigbabu who charged students to be diligent and embrace excellence, expressed satisfaction with the level of cleaning and preparedness of schools’ management, teachers and students for the new academic calendar during his monitoring team visit to schools in Egba, Ijebu-Ode and Remo axis of the State

According to him, “government would continue to create enabling environment for students to learn, while teachers are fully ready to give the best teaching experience'”

The Commissioner was optimistic about the schools taking off on a good note with the level of preparation put in place by the present Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration, urging the schools to continue to adhere strictly to the laid down COVID-19 protocols

“I am happy that the session is starting on a good note, by God’s grace we expect a good academic session. We have worked relentlessly with the principals to ensure that our classes are not overcrowded. I want to encourage you learners to put in your best, be focused, follow instructions of the school authorities and continue to observe the COVID-19 protocols to protect yourselves and others”, he said

In their responses, the principals of Abeokuta Grammar School (Senior) and Lisabi Grammar School (Junior), Mr. Oludare Sorinola and Mrs. Olufunmilayo Joseph respectively said teachers were ready to discharge their duties responsively, pointing out that they have set target to adequately prepare students for future endeavours. 

Other schools visited include, Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Anglican Girls Grammar School, Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu-Muslim College in Ijebu-Ode and Remo Secondary School, Sagamu
