156 Students from 52 Ogun Schools Brightest Minds Compete at Adewale Students Conference 2025

The 2025 edition of the Adewale Students Conference, proudly supported by the Ogun State Government, has drawn 156 exceptional students from 52 secondary schools across the state — spanning both public and private secondary schools — in a transformative academic and leadership contest designed to celebrate education, innovation, and skills development.
With the theme “Educate to Innovate: Skills for a Changing World,” the conference is envisioned as a platform for nurturing the intellectual capacity of young minds, equipping them with creative and problem-solving abilities essential for navigating the fast-changing global environment. Organisers describe the initiative as a deliberate effort to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and practical innovation, aligning with Ogun State’s broader education reform agenda.
The weeklong event commenced on Monday with a camping and orientation session that introduced participants to leadership values, teamwork, and the fundamentals of innovation. On Tuesday, the conference entered its Group Stage, where 30 schools were screened out after a series of rigorous academic assessments, presentations, and skill-based challenges.
As the competition intensifies, another 20 schools was eliminated today (Wednesday), paving the way for the emergence of the top two schools—comprising six outstanding students—who will advance to the final stage to battle for the ultimate prize.
