Omokri Vows Never to Criticize Jonathan, Cites Unwavering Loyalty

Former presidential spokesman, Reno Omokri, has stated that he would never publicly criticize former President Goodluck Jonathan, describing his loyalty to the former leader as unconditional.
Omokri made the remark while featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he was asked to share his views on Jonathan’s political decisions.
“I have unconditional love for President Jonathan. I will not criticize him and I will not give an opinion on anything he does on live television,” Omokri said.
Highlighting the depth of his bond with the former president, Omokri recalled that Jonathan once visited him and his family in the United States, a gesture that, according to him, demonstrated rare trust and confidence.

“This is a man who came to California and spent 10 days with me and my family. That’s the level of confidence he has in me,” he added.
Omokri, who served as Special Assistant on New Media during Jonathan’s administration, has remained one of the ex-president’s staunchest defenders since leaving office in 2015. His comments reaffirm his longstanding position of shielding Jonathan from public criticism.
