Sagamu LG Chairman Odulate Congratulates Ayoola Elegbeji on Remo Bye-Election Victory

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has hailed the emergence of Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji as the winner of the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election, describing her triumph as both historic and symbolic.

The election was conducted to fill the vacant seat following the demise of Hon. Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, popularly known as Ijaya. The victory, Odulate said, reflects the confidence of the people of Remo in the leadership capacity and vision of Elegbeji.

“This victory is not just for Hon. Elegbeji but for the good people of Remo who stood firm, defended their mandate, and spoke with one voice,” Odulate stated. “It is a continuation of Ijaya’s legacy and a renewed call to service for the development of our constituency.”

Odulate further expressed optimism that Elegbeji will bring honour, excellence, and purposeful representation to the National Assembly, ensuring that the interests of Remo people are well protected.

The council boss assured that the leadership of Sagamu Local Government will continue to work closely with the new lawmaker to deepen grassroots development and sustain the legacy of progressive governance in the constituency.
