Nigeria vs Morocco: Super Falcons Unveil Starting XI Ahead of WAFCON Title Clash

As anticipation builds for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final, Nigeria’s Super Falcons have officially unveiled their starting XI to take on host nation Morocco at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat. The highly anticipated clash is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
Head coach Justine Pwanidi Madugu has named Chiamaka Nnadozie as his starting goalkeeper, sticking with the reliable shot-stopper who has played a key role throughout the tournament.
In defense, Osinachi Ohale and Michelle Alozie return to provide experience and structure, alongside Oluwatosin Demehin and Ashleigh Plumptre, forming a solid backline to withstand Morocco’s offensive threat.
The midfield trio includes Deborah Abiodun, Halimatu Ayinde, and Folashade Florence Ijamilusi, tasked with controlling the tempo and transitioning play.
Leading the charge in attack are Rasheedat Ajibade, Chinwendu Ihezuo, and Esther Okoronkwo, as the Falcons aim to break through Morocco’s defense with pace and precision.
