EPL: Only Happy Players Will Stay – Maresca Issues Stern Warning To Discontented Chelsea Stars

Chelsea head coach, Enzo Maresca, has sent a clear message to his squad, stating that only players who are fully committed and happy to be at the club will remain at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking in the aftermath of Chelsea’s Club World Cup victory over Palmeiras in the early hours of Saturday, the Italian tactician addressed ongoing speculation linking winger Noni Madueke with a move to Arsenal.

“Noni [Madueke] has been very important for us,” Maresca told reporters. “But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that aren’t happy, they’re free to go.”
The 44-year-old former Leicester City boss emphasized that team unity and player satisfaction are crucial as he looks to rebuild Chelsea into a competitive Premier League force.
Maresca’s comments are seen as a firm stance amid increasing transfer rumours and internal unrest, as he seeks to instil a winning mentality and positive atmosphere in the dressing room ahead of the new season.
