The JTB emphasized that the new pricing is applicable nationwide and urged relevant agencies, including Motor Vehicle Licensing Authorities in all states, to enforce compliance.

Nigerians are encouraged to process their applications through official platforms such as the National Vehicle Identification System portal (nvis.frsc.gov.ng) or the nearest Vehicle Licensing Authority to avoid exploitation.

The board also issued a strong warning against patronizing touts and unauthorized agents, reminding the public to stick to the approved fees to prevent extortion.
