MAHSOSA 2005/06 Set Reunites, Affirms Support For Comrade Lahbash’s Leadership, Unveils Multimillion Naira Ultra-Modern Toilet Project

The Makun High School Old Students Association (MAHSOSA) 2005/06 Set has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the progress of its alma mater, as members gathered in unity on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the school premises for their quarterly general meeting. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and a shared vision for growth as members unanimously resolved to retain the leadership of Comrade Bashiru Hammed Adewale, affectionately known as Honourable Prince Lahbash, citing his exceptional service and dedication to the association’s cause.
A major highlight of the gathering was the official unveiling of an ultra-modern toilet facility, fully equipped with contemporary sanitary fittings and designed to cater to the needs of students and staff of Makun High School. The project, a direct initiative of the association under the stewardship of Comrade Lahbash, was applauded by all as a timely and much-needed intervention in enhancing hygiene and promoting student welfare.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lahbash expressed deep gratitude to members for their overwhelming support and renewed mandate. He emphasized the importance of unity and genuine love among old students as a driving force for meaningful development.
“It is only through unity, genuine love, and collective responsibility that we can truly transform the fortunes of our great alma mater,” Comrade Lahbash said passionately. “This toilet project is not just a structure; it is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together for a common cause. Let us continue to lift one another, support one another, and be our brother’s and sister’s keepers.”
He also encouraged members not to relent in their commitment to the group’s vision, noting that the development of Makun High School should remain a shared priority.
“We must always remember where we came from and find joy in giving back. The young ones in this school today deserve better than what we had, and we owe it to them and to ourselves to keep building,” he added.
Comrade Lahbash’s tenure has been marked by growth and active re-engagement of alumni. Under his leadership, the association has witnessed a remarkable increase in membership, greater involvement in community projects, and enhanced coordination among members. His inclusive and progressive style of leadership continues to inspire many within and outside the association.
The well-attended meeting featured robust deliberations on future projects, including plans for a mentorship programme, scholarship opportunities, and further infrastructural upgrades in the school. The members present expressed their enthusiasm and pledged continued support for the association’s developmental agenda.
