OGHA: Hon. Damilare Bello, Others Push To Rename Sagamu High Court Road In Honour Of Late Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya)

In a bid to immortalize the late Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, popularly known as Ijaya, Ogun State lawmakers from Remo extraction have moved a motion urging the Ogun State Government to rename Sagamu High Court Road in her honour.

The motion, sponsored by Hon. Damilare Bello and co-sponsored by Hon. Dickson Awolaja, Hon. Sobukola Adekunle, Hon. Adeniran Ademola, and others, was presented before the Ogun State House of Assembly as a mark of recognition for Onanuga’s exceptional service to Remo Federal Constituency and Ogun State at large.

Speaking on the motion, Hon. Damilare Bello described the late Onanuga as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to her constituency and the nation left an indelible mark on governance and public service.

“Renaming Sagamu High Court Road after Hon. Onanuga will serve as a lasting tribute to her remarkable legacy, inspiring future generations to emulate her commitment to leadership and community development,” Hon. Bello stated.
