In a heartfelt statement, the Chairman of Adron Group, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Rt. Hon. Otunba (Dr.) Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, the Yeye Oba of Makun Kingdom, popularly known as “Ijaya.”

Aare Adetola described her passing as a monumental loss, not only to Ogun State but to the nation at large. He called her a “beacon of hope” and a “trailblazer,” whose leadership and selflessness inspired countless lives.

Until her untimely demise, Rt. Hon. Onanuga served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, representing the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency. She was widely recognized for her passion for justice, her dedication to women’s empowerment, and her unwavering commitment to societal progress.

Reflecting on their 10-year relationship, Aare Adetola noted her role in supporting the global vision of Adron Homes and her invaluable contributions to the Obaruwa Festival in Makun Kingdom. “Her resilience, humility, and charisma made her a shining light in the community,” he said.
