IDYA Marks 25th Anniversary With Pastoral Blessings At Cathedral Church Of St. Paul, Ijagba
As part of the activities to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Ijagba Development Youth Association (IDYA) paid a historic visit to the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Ijagba, to receive pastoral blessings from the revered Canon Akinpelu.
The landmark occasion brought together youth leaders, members of the association, and community stakeholders to reflect on the association’s journey of impact and progress over the past quarter-century.
In his heartfelt address, Reverend Canon Akinpelu lauded the association for its relentless efforts in promoting development, unity, and peace within the Ijagba community. He urged the youth to stay steadfast in their faith and maintain a close relationship with Christ.
“Christ remains the foundation of lasting success and unity. As you celebrate this milestone, I charge you to always prioritize prayers for the peace and prosperity of Ijagba. A united and Christ-centered community will continue to enjoy divine favor and harmony,” Reverend Canon remarked.

The 25th-anniversary celebrations continue with a series of programs, including community outreach, sports, games, and an anniversary gala aimed at furthering IDYA’s mission of empowering youths and fostering development in Ijagba.
