Ijagba Youths Begin 25th Anniversary Celebration With Prayer Session In Sagamu
The Ijagba Development Youth Association (IDYA) has today 20th of December 2024, officially commenced its 25th Anniversary celebrations with a spiritually uplifting prayer session at the Anwar-ul-Islam Nigeria Movement Mosque, Sagamu Mission, Ijagba. The session, led by the revered Imam Abeeb Olayiwola Ayoola, saw blessings and goodwill poured out for the youth association, marking a significant milestone in its history.
Key leaders of the association were in attendance, including Comrade Olowu Oluwole Adeyemi, IDYA President; Comrade Atoloye Nurudeen, Vice President; and Comrade Ogundein Babatope, Treasurer and a frontrunner for the association’s presidential election. Addressing attendees, the youths leadership reaffirmed their vision for IDYA, highlighted antecedents on promotion of youth creativity, skill acquisition, and community development.
Adding gravitas to the event, prominent Board of Trustees members Comrade (Prince) Akinsanya Abiodun and Comrade (Chief) Obayomi Fatola graced the occasion. They commended IDYA for its sustained contributions to youth and community development over the past 25 years, encouraging the current and incoming leaderships to sustain and expand these efforts.
