NUJ Ogun Congratulates Alhassan Yahya On Election As National President
The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has applauded Comrade Alhassan Yahya on his historic emergence as the new President of the NUJ, hailing his election as a victory for professionalism and progressive leadership in journalism.
In a statement signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Akinwale Olanrewaju, and Secretary, Bunmi Adigun, the Ogun NUJ expressed pride in the credible and peaceful conduct of the election, which also ushered in other members of the Central Working Committee.
Comrade Olanrewaju described Yahyah as a visionary leader with a proven track record of dedication, resilience, and innovative thinking, which the Union believes will bring transformative growth to the profession.
“We are confident that Comrade Alhassan Yahyah’s exceptional leadership qualities will steer the NUJ toward greater achievements.
