Vote Wisely, Stay United: Sagamu Youth Leader, Ambassador Easy Urges Peace Ahead Of Elections

As Sagamu gears up for the November 16 local government elections, the President of the Sagamu Youth Association, Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal popularly known as Ambassador Easy has issued a heartfelt call for peace, unity, and responsible voting among residents. Addressing the community, the youth leader emphasized the importance of prioritizing the collective good of Sagamu over political affiliations and differences.

“Political differences and party affiliations should not divide us or make us fight one another. We are all one family, and Sagamu is our home,” the President stated passionately.

He urged residents to embrace their civic duty by voting wisely while shunning violence or actions that could disrupt the peace of the town. He also reminded Sagamu youths that the strength of the community lies in its unity.

“Let us remain peaceful as we go to the polls. Orisagamu Ewa agbe dede eni Oooo, Ase Edumare,“ he concluded, invoking divine blessings for harmony.

The message comes at a crucial time, as tensions sometimes run high during election seasons. Observers have lauded the association for its proactive approach to maintaining peace and fostering a sense of community spirit.
