Cultural Displays Light Up APC Campaign As Sagamu Community Rallies For Unity And Progress

Another remarkable day in the Sagamu All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign as the turnout for Day 2 exceeded expectations. This is a true testament to the widespread support and enthusiasm for our party and its dedicated candidates.

The campaign began in earnest from the AFO Campaign Office, moving toward the APC SLG Secretariat, where Comr. Akile Danku, State Chairman of AMORAN, joined the movement along with his team, further reinforcing our commitment to unity and collective progress.

A major highlight was the courtesy visit to Oja Falawo Market, where traders showed overwhelming support for AFO’s continuity, expressing gratitude for the recent modernization of the market, which stands as a visible sign of the administration’s dedication to growth.

In Ward 2, at Oniyanrin, an exceptional welcome awaited the campaign train. The vibrant festivities included cultural dance performances, the traditional Agemo masquerade, and motorcycle displays, all in celebration of our party’s values and its future vision. Ward 2 Campaign Director, Omoba Adeniyi Abdul, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, appreciating Hon. Afolabi Odulate (AFO) for his steadfast support and acknowledging the commitment of all party members.

Campaign DG Hon. Azeez Arole Bello passionately encouraged members not to relent, urging them to uphold the party’s “Agbelemo” motto come November 16. He highlighted that the upcoming administration is founded on action, promising infrastructure, community improvements, and vocational training initiatives that will serve every resident of Sagamu Local Government. He assured members of a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”

Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate extended his sincere gratitude to the crowd and informed attendees of the recent loss of APC Sagamu Vice Chairman Comr. Sinnijay, prompting a pause in campaign activities tomorrow as a symbol of respect.

The campaign train’s stop in Ward 3 showcased incredible unity as DG Saheed Kamiyo and party members welcomed the team with open arms. Notable leaders, including Comr. Danku acknowledged Ward 3’s development under AFO’s first term, including the Cinema and Sawmill road projects, with promises for continued growth. Hon. Odulate assured Ward 3 members of continued support and noted the recently approved Aiyepe road project, which will soon commence to link neighboring towns.

The final stop at Ward 6 in Itunsokun saw a lively Egungun Olorisa display as Omoba Sodiq Adaranbori warmly greeted leaders and members. Hon. Azeez Bello again rallied support, encouraging all to vote on November 16 for Hon. AFO and their devoted Councilor candidate, Prince Adekunle Folarin.

With a heartfelt address, Hon. AFO emphasized the significance of Ward 6 as his own and praised the dedication of Councilor “Somebody” (Prince Adekunle Folarin), whose innovative projects, such as the Falawo Market renovation, reflect a deep commitment to community development. The ceremony concluded with Party Chairman Mr. Opaleye presented the APC flag to Prince Folarin, symbolizing a continued commitment to growth, unity, and prosperity for all.

Today’s overwhelming turnout speaks volumes about the unwavering support of the masses,reinforcing the party’s strong presence and inspiring confidence in a future dedicated to Sagamu’s progress.
