Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde, popularly known as Fabregas, has formally resigned from his position as the Director General of the Local Government Election Campaign Team for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Sagamu Local Government.

In a statement issued to party leadership, Asiwaju Babatunde expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the role and his pride in the achievements made during his tenure.

“It has been an honor to serve in this capacity and to work alongside such a dedicated team. I am proud of what we have accomplished together in advancing our party’s mission and values,” he noted.

Citing the need to pursue other opportunities, Babatunde explained that his decision was made after careful consideration. “After thoughtful reflection, I have decided to step down from this role and explore new avenues. My commitment to the values and goals of the People’s Democratic Party remains unwavering, and I look forward to witnessing its continued success.”

Despite his resignation, Asiwaju Babatunde reaffirmed his strong support for the PDP and its objectives. He thanked the party leadership for the trust and support extended to him during his tenure as Director General.
