Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate Calls For Unity, Appreciates Progressive Family Ahead Of Sagamu LG Elections

Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Afolabi Odulate, popularly known as AFO, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Sagamu Local Government, has extended heartfelt appreciation to his progressive family for their collective efforts in building a united front ahead of the upcoming local government elections.

In a statement released, AFO commended the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by party members and leaders following the recent primaries, emphasizing that the process was a family affair with no victor or vanquished. “The aftermath of the primaries and the tone of engagements have shown nothing other than our genuine love and desire to see a better, progressive, and more prosperous Sagamu,” AFO said.

AFO stressed that his selection to champion the party’s cause does not place him above others, and he welcomed the contributions of all members in shaping the Sagamu of their dreams. “Sagamu is unarguably blessed with sound and resourceful individuals, and I shall be open to all as we work together to achieve a common goal,” he added.

He expressed his gratitude to notable APC chieftains, including Hon. Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Ola Oresanya, Otunba Samsondeen Osho, Hon. Muri Awolaja, Prince Ade Adesanya (Ade & Ade), and Otunba Taofeek Sokoya (Danku).

Particular mention was made of his co-aspirants in the primaries, whom AFO acknowledged for their dedication and sportsmanship, using His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, as a point of reference in thanking Hon. Tola Olutayo (Belgium), Hon. Isiaka Salami, Hon. Tope Adesanya, Hon. Simiat Raji, and others.
