While celebrating the nation’s independence, Okueso also used the opportunity to express his unwavering support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming local government elections in Ogun State. He threw his weight behind Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate, who is vying for a second term as Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, encouraging residents to support his bid for continuity.

Highlighting Odulate’s accomplishments during his first term, Eniola praised his leadership, especially in tackling inefficiencies at the Secretariat. “One of Ogbeni Odulate’s notable achievements was his decision to resuscitate the central electricity generator that had been lying dormant. His directive ensured that no department would rely on separate power generators, thereby significantly reducing overhead costs,” Okueso remarked.

Odulate’s commitment to cutting costs and streamlining local government operations has earned him widespread praise. Supporters, rallying under the slogan “AFO 4 CONTINUITY,” believe his visionary leadership will continue to drive progress in Sagamu.

As the campaign for a second term intensifies, Okueso urged the people of Sagamu to back Odulate, noting that his achievements and forward-looking strategies make him the best candidate to lead the local government into the future.
