Ogun LG Elections: Alowonle Vows To Bring Good Governance To Sagamu, Promises Not To Disappoint The People

In a passionate address to the IJAYA PROGRESSIVES COALITION, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, the Otunba Ilufemiloye of Makun and former chairman of Ogun Amoran, reaffirmed his commitment to contesting for the Chairman of Sagamu Local Government. He emphasized that his aspiration is not driven by personal ambition, but by a genuine desire to serve the people of Sagamu and bring about positive change.

Alowonle acknowledged the trust and confidence placed in him by the party leadership and the people of Sagamu, and promised to justify their support by delivering good governance and quality dividends of democracy.

He assured the audience that he would not disappoint the party and the people, citing his reputation for integrity and accountability.

The former Amoran boss commended Hon. Onanuga Oriyomi Adewunmi Ijaya as the most outstanding federal lawmaker since the inception of Remo Federal constituency, praising her dedications and commitments to the people.

In his words, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle says; “Let me use this medium to humbly inform our leaders and party members in regards to my intention and interest to contest for the Chairman of Sagamu Local Government. It is my hope and wish that the leadership of  our great party APC, will consider me for this great task and responsibility. Let me assure you all that by the special grace of God,  I will not disappoint your trust and confidence. I will not disappoint the good people of Sagamu because I have a good name and integrity to protect always. With your collective support and solidarity, we shall build a new Sagamu of our dream”

He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessors.

Alowonle’s campaign slogan, “Alowonle 4 Chairman: Together we build the Sagamu of our dream”, reflects his vision for a collaborative and inclusive approach to governance. He urged the party leadership and the people of Sagamu to join him in building a better future for the local government.
