OGUN LG POLLS: Sagamu APC Rallies Behind Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate As He Seeks Reelection

In a display of unity and support, the Sagamu Local Government Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently received Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate, also known as AFO, on a visit to the party secretariat. The purpose of the visit was to seek the party’s blessings, prayers, and support for his reelection as Council Chairman in the forthcoming local government elections.

Ogbeni Odulate, who was accompanied by a retinue of party leaders and supporters, expressed his profound gratitude to the party for believing in his capacity to deliver during the 2021 election. He highlighted his excellent scorecard during his first term, which included numerous achievements and projects that have positively impacted the lives of the people of Sagamu.

“I am grateful to the party for the opportunity to serve, and I am proud of what we have achieved together,” Ogbeni Odulate said.

Honorable Muri Awolaja, who accompanied Ogbeni Odulate on the visit, praised him for his performance during his first term and appealed to the party executives to give him another chance to continue his good works.

“Ogbeni Odulate has done exceptionally well, and we believe he deserves another term to consolidate on his achievements,” Honorable Awolaja said.

The visit was attended by prominent party leaders, including Alhaji Kamoru Babatunde (Kabati), Omoba Adebayo, Honorable Lola Awoniyi, Chief Laide Okunola (Citizen), Omolola Soyombo, Martin Olufemi, Kuburat Jaiyeola, Mukaila Tijani, Lawal Mukaila, Barrister Adeleke Solarin, Mrs. Laide Owonifari, Mr. Ademola Soboyejo, Mr. Adejuwon, Oyindamola Lawal, Abiodun Oseni, Chief Sontan, Mr. Adeyemi, Mr. Solaja, Honorable Odusote Rasak, Alhaji Sanni, Tolani Musari, Deacon Otefisan, and many others.

The Party Chairman, Chief Opaleye, emphasized his commitment to Ogbeni Odulate, stating that once he is dedicated to someone, he does not turn back. He praised Ogbeni Odulate, saying his scorecard speaks for itself.

“We are proud of Ogbeni Odulate, and we will support him to continue the good work he has started,” Chief Opaleye said.

The local government executives who received Ogbeni Odulate included Chairman Chief Opaleye, Vice Chairman Honorable Suluka Sogbesan, Secretary Mr. Sulaiman Oyegunle, Women Leader Mrs. Rukayat Sonubi-Yoboro, and chairmen from the 15 wards of Sagamu Local Government.
