Ogun State: Where Promises Fade Away —Awobajo Adesegun Adeyinka Acathy

Awobajo Adesegun Adeyinka otherwise known as Acathy had in a statement released said; “the government of Ogun State, under the leadership of Dapo Abiodun, has failed to deliver on its promises of good governance and basic infrastructure development, despite having a significant youth representation in the government.”

Despite having a high percentage of youth representation in the government, the citizens of Ogun State continue to suffer from poor road conditions, inadequate healthcare, and a lack of access to quality education and clean water.

“The roads in Sagamu, in particular, are in a deplorable state, with potholes and craters making commuters difficult and dangerous.”

“Yet, the government continues to generate revenue from motorcycle and tricycle operators who use these roads.”

“It is unacceptable that the government is not using these funds to improve the road conditions and provide a safe and conducive environment for its citizens.”

“We urge those strong and mighty men and women, who are chief promoters of this government, to work together to provide palliatives for the Trunk Road B,C and D in Sagamu and fulfill the government’s responsibility to provide good roads and safety for its citizens.”

“The power of government is meaningless if it does not benefit the people.”

“The whole points above indeed highlights the need for the Ogun State government to prioritize the welfare of its citizens and fulfill its promises of good governance and infrastructure development, the masses are not smiling at his Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun”, Acathy said.
