Elon Musk Mocked Meta Over The Outage, Users Sharing Experiences On X’s App
When the Facebook, Instagram, Messenger apps had suffered the outage, Elon Musk’s X was flooded with posts from people who were affected. Musk himself also reacted to the outage, mocking his competitor.
On Tuesday 5th of March, Facebook, Instagram and Threads users reported that they couldn’t access the social media apps. Meta Quest users too had issues logging in to their headsets. The outage lasted for about an hour, and now, all apps are working normally.
When the apps had suffered the outage, Elon Musk’s X was flooded with posts from people who were affected. Musk himself also reacted to the outage, mocking his competitor. On the other hand, some YouTube users had also reported an error in the app, saying that they were having issues logging in.

As usual, Elon Musk also jumped on the meme bandwagon and mocked his competitor. He tweeted that X servers were working all fine. And then added for good measure that he could understand why Twitter users were talking about services that were down.
Responding to the outage and acknowledging the issue, Meta had said in a statement, “We are aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now: Meta Communications Team.”
