IYD 2023: Hon. Damilare Bello Vows Constituency Quarterly Engagements, To Empower, Create Digital Economy Opportunity For Youth
The Honourable representing Offin, Sagamu Constituency 1 at the 10th Ogun State House of Assembly, Omooba Damilare Bello Muhammed on the occasion of the 2023 International Youth Day (IYD), has reaffirmed the commitment of his tenure as a youth to creating meaningful opportunities for young ones in his Constituency.
From job creation, education and skills development to digital innovation, financial technology, and youth participation in governance. Omooba Damilare Bello, in his speech, emphasised that youth empowerment is a fundamental pillar of all reform actions being implemented across sectors, in order to create an environment where Nigerian youths can thrive and contribute to the growth and development of the nation.
The Honourable acknowledged the growing interest and impact of many young Nigerians in technology-related fields the world over and vows to continually engage Youths so as to know what they want at every points in time.
Comrade Ola Yusuf said; “to whom much is given, much is expected”. The youths in Sagamu starting from the Local Government Chairman, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate, Sagamu Constituency II representative, Honourable Adeniran Ademola Adeyinka (Sapele), including Sagamu Constituency 1, Omooba Damilare Bello Muhammed, both the youths representatives of Sagamu Youths Association and National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Sikirulahi Abdulwasiu and Comrade Aduroja Oluwole respectively in their 30’s has all dominates the political space and corridor of power in Sagamu, they all shouldn’t miss this rare golden opportunities.
As agents of change, he urged the Youths to champion national progress, unity and collective prosperity for all citizens of our beloved country.
In tandem with the theme of this year’s International Youth Day event organized and hosted by Honourable Damilare Muhammad Bello: “Sustainable Development: The Youth Role In Nigeria Economics Future & National Security,” the Honourable implored youths to spearhead efforts aimed at achieving the highest quality of sustainable development, which will shape the future of our planet in conformity.
I am ready to put in all resources and efforts to ensure this engagement initiatives continue quarterly, Omooba Damilare Bello said. He also said; “i will consistently engage with and listen to youths with a view to implementing their important and forward-looking feedback.
Honourable Dre Bello heartily extended his best wishes to all Nigerian youth on this joyous International Youth Day celebration.
