ICFJ’s To Train Individuals Passionate About Stopping Disinformation, Gives $2,000 Grant [Check How To Apply]

DEADLINE: AUGUST 4, 2023 — The International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ) wants to train those who are passionate about stopping the spread of disinformation and empowering others to do the same.

Through its Disarming Disinformation Training of the Trainers track, ICFJ will focus on Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for this year.

In each of these regions, five applicants will receive in-person training and $2,000 to develop and run their own training on disinformation. Grantees are expected to train at least 60 people from November 2023 until June 2024.

The deadline for applications is August 4, 2023.
