President Bola Tinubu suspends EFCC chairman
The president of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the indefinite suspension of the Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr Abdulrahseed Bawa, CON in order to enable proper investigation of this conduct in office.
This comes after allegations of abuse of office have been directed towards him. The Director, Operations in the Commission, will now oversee the affairs of the office of the chairman following the period which the investigation will be concluded.
