Gov Abiodun Restates Commitments To LG Autonomy, Says He Has Never Tamper With LG Allocations
The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday, insisted that his administration had never denied council chairmen access to the monthly allocation of the local government administration in the state.
He said this when he inaugurated a legislative council building in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state.

The ultramodern edifice was built by the administration of the chairman of the local government, Wale Adedayo, at the LG secretariat in the Ogere area of the state.
Abiodun said, “In Ogun State, we have not been tempering with the money of the local government.
“Before this administration came in, we hardly had Joint Account Allocation Committee meetings but, this time around, on a monthly basis, on regular basis, we continue to have JAAC meetings where all the chairmen, all the stakeholders meet, and discuss how those funds will be shared accordingly.”
