Why We’re Widely Defeated At The Polls By Opposition — Remo North Concerned APC Stalwarts

­“We would start by congratulating his Excellency (Dapo Abiodun, MFR) and other party loyalists and faithfuls on the success recorded at the just concluded Governorship/House of Assembly Election.”

“It is very important to do this write up in respect to the poor outing of our party (APC) in Remo North Local Government at the just concluded Governorship/House of Assembly Election. The result confirmed the body language and reflection of how party leaders, loyalist/faithfuls within the Local Government has been treated shabbily by the ONLY trusted aide of the Governor (Honourable Adebiyi Adeleye). He ran the party aground with his treacherous, crude, corrupt and greedy attitude. Hence, the reason why the party lost in all the ten (10) wards in the Local Government to the opposition party (PDP).”

“Honourable Adebiyi Adeleye was Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs before he fraudulently cornered the House of Assembly ticket using his influence as a member of the party apparatchik and closeness to the Governor to grab what ordinarily shouldn’t be. This was after he failed in his attempt to pursue his aspiration of contesting for the House of representative ticket. He thereafter snatched the House of Assembly ticket with the hope of been elected the Deputy Speaker.”

­­“Is it not shameful that the so called SA Political with traditional title of APAGUNPOTE could not deliver his polling unit and a single ward for himself and the Governor in the Local Government? Yet he’s been touted as the leading leader in Remo North Local Government.”

“Despite this, he’s been going about celebrating the victory of the Governor that was divinely handed to us by God. He has been bragging as usual that he would always be compensated by the party and or the Governor despite his poor performance at the poll. Isn’t this attitude an affront on the party and the Governor?”

“Why did he disrupt the last House of Assembly primary Election with his treacherous and greedy attitude when he knew he could get what he wanted from the Governor? This his greedy appetite for political favour caused our party the undeserved loss at the poll in the Local Government.”

“What would have been his reaction and or the faith of other party faithfuls that worked and fought for the victory of the Governor? My guess is as good as yours. He would have abandoned the party and go back to PDP going by his cameliolic Political nature/history and the real party loyalists would have been left to face the music of been Politically orphaned.”

“It is on record that he was the PDP House of Assembly candidate in 2019 and abandoned the party less than a week to the General Election when there was a court pronouncement against all the PDP candidates. He decamped to APC and did not vote during the 2019 General Election not to talk of working for the party. Yet he was handsomely rewarded by the party at the detriment of other party loyalists that fought the battle and wildered the storm.”

“It is important to state that the party would have won exceedingly IF the party had allowed the last House of Assembly primary Election to be transparent, fair and without the last minute/coercive approach that edged out other credible aspirants by forcing the so called rude and greedy Adeleye Adebiyi on the party despite his uncouth attitude and resistance from Party leaders/faithfuls within and outside the Local Government. More so, how do you hand over the Local Government party affairs exclusively to such an individual and expect a good result? We are sure this reason and many others contributed to our poor performance in other affected Local Government area.”

“It is noteworthy to mention that one of the aspirants fought the battle against him and the party from Federal High Court to Supreme Court on the premise that he did not obtain the nomination form to contest and also failed to resign his appointment prior to the arranged primacy Election that produced him as the party candidate. It is an open secret that he doctored one of the aspirants nomination form to snatch the party ticket.”

“It is sad and unfortunate that the leadership of our party is handed over solely to this treacherous, corrupt, greedy, rude, crude and cameliolic Political individual despite the fact that we are blessed with former Distinguished Senator, former House of assembly members, former Local Government Chairmen and host of other refined party leaders/loyalist.”

­“The result of last Saturday Election is a reflection that the so called SA Political is not wanted and cannot galvanise and or maintain the party structure with his treacherous and uncouth approach and this would further collapse the party if urgent step is not taken by the party.”

“The party leadership and the Governor should be very careful this time around and be fair enough in selecting cabinet members and other political appointees within the Local Government. This is because any undeserved and unfavourable appointment would further tear the fabric of the party structure apart.”

“Conclusively, we suggest a rebirth of fresh party structure by bringing together brilliant and purpose driven young individuals with the support of party leaders within and outside the Local Government to salvage the wreckage of the structure that was destroyed by Adebiyi Adeleye and his political stooge (Honourable Dapo Odunsi). Moreso, the Governor should be reasonable enough been the party leader to do the needful as suggested because history would always remember us all according to our deeds.”

“The party should not be left to frittered away because of an individual. We should be reminded that 2027 is just around the corner and our structure/foundation would determine the outcome.”

“We know that his illiterate media handlers and some party enemies/stooge would come up with several fabricated/frivolous defence but we have analysed what is obvious even to the blind and positive steps should be taken without delay.”
