Ogun Guber Result: ’PDP’s Crocodile Tears’, APC, Dapo Reacts To Adebutu Calls For Re-run
The All Progressives Congress (APC) and Prince Dapo Abiodun, the incumbent and Governor elect of Ogun State has reacted to the lamentations of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) outcry calling for the cancellation and re-run of the just concluded gubernatorial election.
Below read the full press statement released by the All Progressives Congress, APC party:
“Since the results of the March 18 governorship election in Ogun State were published, the PDP sore losers have been shedding crocodile tears (what the Yoruba call ekun egbere) on social media, desperately trying to discredit the election and portray themselves as the real winners! The real results declared by INEC showed that Prince Abiodun polled 276,298 votes to defeat Ladi Adebutu, who polled 262,383 votes.”
“These sore losers have not been able to explain why, if they truly won this election, they had been thoroughly trounced during the February 25 presidential and National Assembly polls. To hear them cry, you would wonder if they are referring to the same Ogun governorship election won by Prince Dapo Abiodun despite their massive vote buying, intrigues and voter intimidation!”

“Like losers do these days, they alleged over voting in areas where Prince Abiodun won but not in the places where they won using thugs and vote buying. We all know how Baba Ijebu opened vaults to prosecute this election, spending his “last card” in the bid to buy the conscience of the Ogun electorate. But as we say in Yoruba, the money strayed into the forest (owo wogbo). The PDP created ATM-like cards pre-programmed with N10,000 each. Voters’ accounts were credited. Criminals!”
However, information gathered revealed that both the PDP and APC candidates was both involved in the alleged vote buying.
“Indeed, some of the PDP’s agents were arrested by security operatives. They must be prosecuted in accordance with the law and their principal precluded from future elections.”
“You know, PDP relies on the tactic that psychologists call projection, which is, in essence, accuse others of precisely what you are doing. PDP is attributing its crimes to Prince Abiodun and APC in order to deceive the Ogun electorate. What a bunch of career criminals!”
