2023 Guber Election: Why Ogun East Should Vote Gov Abiodun For Second Term — Onayiga Azeez

Dear people of Ogun East senatorial district, as preparations, politicking and strategic plans are ongoing for the governorship election slated to hold on the 11th of March, 2023, I wish to call your attention to what could cause a great mistake for us if we fail to be sensitive to spoiler game facing us. We need to be very careful with our voting pattern at the poll.

From Ogun East Senatorial district, we have 2 major contenders. The incumbent Dapo Abiodun and opposition Ladi Adebutu of PDP.

Though PDA, is strong in Ogun East but any vote for LADO in this Ijebu/Remo axis, is a vote to reduce the chances and strength of the ruling APC. The more votes LADI gathers, in Ogun East, the less the chances of Dapo Abiodun. This is the calculation of Ibikunle Amosun and his political son, Biyi Otegbeye of ADC.

Recall the 2019 elections, which brought Dapo Abiodun to power. We all know that it was as a result of the Ogun West people splitting votes for their 2 candidates, Akinlade of APM and GNI of ADC. There are lots of lessons for Ogun East people to learn from this.

Therefore, I am urging and advising the people of Ogun East Senatorial district not to waste their votes and ensure they return Dapo Abiodun for Second term. I know what am saying and I am sure, that political leaders and community elders in the district will understand better. When two brothers fights, strangers gets the winning prize! A o ni Fi owo ara wa se ara wa oo… Amin.

Ogun East People, Don’t gamble your votes… Canvasss, Support and Vote Dapo Abiodun for Second term. Don’t allow the spoiler game designed by some politicians in the zone to work against us. A word is enough for the wise.
