Yusuf Dantalle, the party’s national chairman, made the announcement during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday night.

According to him, the decision was made following a meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee on critical national issues, specifically the upcoming presidential election.

The adoption of Atiku implies that the APM will not support its presidential candidate, Princess Chichi Ojei.

Dantalle stated that the party made the decision after evaluating Atiku and his running mate, Okowa, and determined that it was in the national interest to elect them as president and vice president in the upcoming election.
