Ogun Monarch Gives Out Chieftaincy Titles, Honoures Politician, Olapeju Ayodele (PJ), 1 Other
The Ewusi of Makun Land, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya (Orugba II) announced the confinement of the chieftaincy titles of Aare Akin of Makun Land on PJ and Aremo Akin of Makun Land on Ikenga.
The chieftaincy tittles was announced during the Youth Nite/Beauty Pageant event activities of the 25th Obaruwa Festival where the two newly chiefs bags a leadership Award, at the event which was held at the palace of the traditional ruler on Thursday, 9th February, 2023.
The event was graced by prominent high chiefs, the good people of Makun and well-wishers from across Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria and Diaspora at large, Genesis Media House reports.
“Your openness, warmth and assurances of commitment to the growth and development of Makun Land in particular and Nigeria as a nation further accentuates your well-known attributes as an icon who seeks to smoothen the concerns of the people and the community at large.

This chieftaincy honour is an indication of trust in your leadership and appreciation of your unending contributions to the betterment of the society. You are indeed, without mincing words, a blessing to our dear land,” Oba Akinsanya said to Ikenga.
While speaking, the newly chieftaincy holder pledged their continued support for the Makun Community and the people of Sagamu at large, while they enjoined the Makun Community to always call upon them at any time for service, as service to humanity remains their calling.
According to the newly chief’s, the date for the conffirment coronation and inauguration of the chieftaincy tittles will be communicated across to the general public.
