The new Air Force Commodore of the Nigerian Air Force, 671 Detachment, Air Commodore Ibitayo Ajiboye, has said that continuing the existing cordial relationship with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) will improve intelligence gathering and cooperation.

Commodore Ajiboye said this during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC’s Oyo State Command at its headquarters in Ibadan.

He praised the NSCDC’s activities in addressing insecurity in the state and the Corps’ commitment to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure in the state.

In response, the state commander of civil defense, Michael Adaralewa, expressed his appreciation for the visit of the new Air Commodore as the nation prepares for general elections.

Adaralewa pledged to use the existing synergy between the security forces in the state to promote the relative peace of the state’s residents.
