The late singer and songwriter Lisa Marie-Presley, the only child of the late Elvis Presley, is said to have paid as much as $400,000 a month to detox from alcohol, painkillers and antidepressants.

Lisa died in January after being rushed to a California hospital after going into cardiac arrest.

The only daughter of Elvis and Michal Jackson’s ex-wife was 54 years old.

Lisa had been struggling with an addiction for quite some time. After she ended the relationship with her fourth husband Michael Lockwood, she entered rehab, according to Marca Lifestyle.

Lisa Marie was found unconscious by her housekeeper who called an ambulance, while Danny Keough, her former husband, performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

Like father to daughter, Lisa Marie Presley and Elvis Presley also struggled with painkillers, as an insider said, “Lisa Marie said she would die if she didn’t get help” in 2016 after her breakup.

“She has a private detox team for $400,000 a month, and all the doctors go to her quarters,” another source claimed.

Priscilla Presley was engrossed in her daughter’s battle with addiction and “visited her more than once” according to Radar, who also reported that sources claimed her addiction to painkillers began before she split from Michael Jackson, claiming she was “excruciating back pain”. Others claim that the “terrible scandal involving her husband (Michael) who abused her finances” made life very difficult for her.

Insiders claim that Lisa had a “complete emotional breakdown, she just spun out of control and fell off the wagon.”

Lisa started using drugs when she was 13 years old until she was 17 and had a life of relapse, Marca’s report added.

“I did everything except magic mushrooms and heroin… or crack,” she allegedly said.

Elvis’ only child entered the Church of Scientology program after partying for 72 straight hours and waking up to people on the floor.

“Cocaine, tranquilizers, weed and drinking – all at the same time… I don’t know how I got through it,” said Lisa Marie.

“I woke up one day with a bunch of people on the floor. I drove myself to the Church of Scientology and said, ‘Someone…help me now.’”
