Plateau APC gubernatorial promises creation of markets abroad

Dr. Nentawe Yiltwada, a Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor in Plateau State, has stated that his administration, if elected, would engage the people of the diaspora in creating markets abroad for the agricultural products and mineral resources of the state.

during the gubernatorial debate at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Plateau State.

Generation Next Campaign Council spokesman Shittu Bamaiyi said Nentawe argued that he would rather use the people of the diaspora more for creating markets and promoting the state’s rich endowments abroad.

He insisted on the need to provide energy for the industrialization of the state by dredging the Kurra falls and developing the new falls in Kwall and that of Pankshin South for sufficient power supply, which he said will attract investors.

On tourism, the APC gubernatorial candidate disclosed that the state is blessed with high altitudes, which are very good for the training of long-distance runners and boost the more than fifty cultural festivals that abound in the state to attract tourists to the state.

The APC gubernatorial nominee noted that the state’s much-discussed poor financial status by the other candidates did not deter him from moving the state forward through experienced, visible, and intellectual leadership.

Nentawe said that if elected, he would explore the abundant solid mineral resources through joint venture agreements with international partners so that the state can take maximum advantage of its resources.

On the plight of the persons with disabilities, Nentawe revealed to the public administration that apart from schooling with some of them at Gindiri Boys Secondary School, he was one of the committee members who passed the laws and procedures in the electoral law for them drafted. to participate in the electoral process in the country.

He also noted that Plateau State has contributed significantly to the country’s housing needs, but has not benefited as much from the scheme as expected.

Nentawe pledged to improve the state’s revenue base by broadening and deepening the economy by establishing a special fund to empower youth, women and people with disabilities.

The APC governorship revealed that good governance should be provided and the cost of governance should be reduced. He would provide loans to senior officials with cars instead of spending huge sums to buy government vehicles.
